Mill Steel Company proudly celebrated a major milestone on Monday, July 20, as the 30th Annual David Samrick Golf for Kids outing raised a record-breaking $376,530 to benefit D.A. Blodgett – St. John's. The event, held at Egypt Valley Country Club, brought together customers, suppliers, business partners, employees, and community supporters for a day dedicated to strengthening the lives of children and families throughout West Michigan.
Since its founding three decades ago, the David Samrick Golf for Kids outing has become one of Michigan's premier charitable golf events. Renamed to honor the legacy of former Mill Steel CEO and event founder, David Samrick, the outing reflects the company's longstanding commitment to giving back to the communities where its employees live and work.
This year's record fundraising total will directly support the life-changing programs provided by D.A. Blodgett – St. John's, including:
- Foster care
- Adoption services
- Family preservation
- Residential treatment
- Behavioral health services
- Mentoring and family support programs
The funds raised help ensure children and families throughout West Michigan have access to critical resources, stable relationships, and opportunities to thrive.
