This year marked the 26th Annual David Samrick Golf For Kids event benefiting D.A. Blodgett-St. John’s Mentoring Services, a fundamental element of the philanthropic identity of Mill Steel. The outing took place on Monday, July 25th at Egypt Valley Country Club, where we were able to utilize both courses for maximum impact. Our friends, associates and business partners rallied together to raise a total of over $326,000 in support of this valuable community resource!
Over the years, this has grown to be one of the largest non-celebrity charity golf outings in the state. Every dollar raised helps support current matches and pair hundreds of youths and young parents with new mentors – that’s thousands of lives helped on their path to success!
A heartfelt thank you to all that donated and everyone that helped make this outing a great success. We hope everyone that attended enjoyed themselves and we look forward to continuing David’s legacy of philanthropy at next year’s outing!
